The best WNBA player props today

WNBA player props tip 1: Jonquel Jones over 17.5 points @ –125 (1.80)

Even before the 2023 WNBA Finals began many expected that the 2021 MVP Jonquel Jones would be the X-factor. The Liberty’s center wasn’t much of a factor in the first 2 matches but in game 3 she exploded for 27 points to give Liberty hope.

Jones has now scored 22 or more points in 3 of her last 4 playoff matches. She also averaged 19.8 points per game against the Aces during the regular season. All that makes us back her again to score 18 or more points in another must-win scenario for the Liberty.

WNBA player props tip 2: Sabrina Ionescu under 5.5 assists @ –115 (1.87)

Our next prediction looks at Liberty’s sharpshooter Sabrina Ionescu. She had an explosion in game 3 of the Finals with 11 assists. Ionescu was finding open teammates way too easily in game 3 and based on just this one match she should go for 6 or more assists now in the must-win game 4 too.

However, this was only the second time in the postseason Ionescu had more than 5 assists in a match. Her average for the regular season was just 4.0 assists per game. This is why we think it will be hard for her to record back-to-back games in the Finals with 6 or more assists.

These odds were correct at the time of writing.

Our guide to NBA player specials – NBA players prop betting explained

We’ll get specific now! While you can see a bunch of free WNBA betting tips already, let us explain in detail what player prop bets are.

How it works

A player prop bet is basically a wager on a specific player’s statistics for a specific game. The most common players’ props are wagered on a game-to-game basis but there are options to pick over/under wager for a player’s entire playoff run, or an entire series.

The main advantage of betting on NBA Players Props Tonight instead of full-game wagers is that there are far fewer variables that could go wrong.

Types of WNBA players props

The most common player prop is an over/under on how many points a player will score. The number of different player props available depends on the bookmaker and the player involved. The standard options are points, rebounds, assists and threes made.

The following are popular over/under prop bets: total rebounds, total assists, points and assists combined, points and rebounds combined, points/rebounds/assists combined, number of steals and three-point field goals made.

The most popular types of WNBA player props

These are the most common WNBA player props you can expect to find looking at a bookmaker’s website:

  • Points
  • Assists
  • Rebounds
  • Three-pointers
  • Steals
  • Points + Assists Combined
  • Points + Rebounds Combined
  • Points + Rebounds + Assists Combined

Extra notes

We want to stress that there are no players props for every player on each team. On average, a bookmaker will select 5 players from each team and give them over/under odds for a certain category.

In general, we think there is huge potential in betting on WNBA Players specials and we will be giving you 3 free betting tips every day from now until the end of the last WNBA game of the 2023 season.
