Despite that bold move, Jones kept her private life well out of the spotlights for many years. As it turned out she has been in a serious relationship since 2018, but only four years later in July 2022 Jonquel Jones and her long-term partner Nesha announced officially that to the world.
In early July 2022, Jonquel posted on her Instagram page a series of pictures of the happy couple and added the caption: “Thanks for loving me on my lowest days and being there for me through it all. You get my humor. You get my moods, you get it all.”
Several days later Nesha revealed in a TikTok video posted on July 29, 2022, that the couple have been dating since 2018.

Jonquel Jones’ partner Nesha is a certified nail technician. She graduated from a nail tech school in January 2023 and without wasting any time she opened her own nail salon called The Doll House Company in Brooklyn, New York.
Nesha seems to be very busy growing her business. She is very active on social media too with lots of her clients at the nail salon finding out about it from her constant TikTok videos or Instagram posts.
