New England Patriots vs Miami Dolphins – game predictions

Below you can find our Patriots vs Dolphins predictions. For more of our NFL betting tips and NFL player props suggestions follow these links.

Prediction 1: Kyle Dugger over 4.5 defensive tackles + assists @ -138 (8/11)

Patriots’ safety Kyle Dugger had a strong Week 1 with 5 tackles and 3 assists. Dugger had 3 interception touchdowns last season, with the last of those being in the January win vs the Dolphins when he ran for 39 yards. Dugger will fancy his chances to make another big play against Miami and we expect him to easily cover his tackles + assists spread.

Prediction 2: Tua Tagovailoa over 0.5 interceptions @ -125 (4/5)

The Dolphins are a passing team In Week 1 they had 466 passing yards, ranked 1st, and only 77 rushing yards, ranked 27th. Now, they are up against the most efficient pass-rush duo in the entire league and this could spell trouble for QB Tua Tagovailoa. Josh Uche and Matthew Judon amassed 29 sacks combined since the start of 2022. They got a sack each in Week 1. All this makes us think that Tua will be forced to make early throws often. This significantly increases the chances of him throwing an interception at some stage of the game.

Tua threw for 3 TD in Week 1 but he also had an interception. This only backs our belief that he will throw another one in the coming match too.

Patriots vs Dolphins preview – can the Tua’s men swim away with a W?

The Giants will be desperate to reduce their giveaways and the easiest way to do that is to put the ball in the hands of Saquon Barkley and let him run. Will the Cardinals be ready for that?

New England Patriots form, news and injuries

The Patriots lost 20-25 vs the Eagles in Week 1. The display was not too bad and only the inability to make a big play in the second half prevented Belichick’s men from causing an upset. The pass-rush worked very well once more and relying on their defence the Patriots should dominate the scrimmage line in the coming matchup.
