The new NFL season for both the Chiefs and the Bears hasn’t started as well as they’d hoped. Prediction 1: Travis Kelce touchdown anytime @ -150 (4/6)
After missing Week 1 Travis Kelce, the second cog of the lethal Mahomes-Kelce partnership, was the main reason why the Chiefs achieved their first W in Week 2. Kelce remains the primary target for Mahomes when the Chiefs are in the red zone and we can see the TE recording yet another touchdown against the very shaky defence of the Bears.
Despite securing only 4 of his targets in Week 2 Kelce grabbed himself a touchdown. Now his use will be even greater as the main WR Toney and the key RB in the red zone Pacheco both listed as questionable. This will mean that every time the Chiefs are in the red zone Mahomes will first be looking for an opening to find Kelce. Surely, this will bring the TE at least one touchdown.
Prediction 2: Justin Fields over 0.5 interceptions @ -150 (4/6)
Chicago’s underperforming QB Justin Fields is under serious pressure right now and the calls for him to be traded already got louder. Fields had been disappointing, at least that, in the first two weeks. Fields has thrown 3 interceptions in the first two weeks. He threw 2 on the road last weekend. With his confidence low and now facing one of the big defensive monsters in the entire league, we can see Fields again throwing an interception. The pressure on him is guaranteed with the defensive tackle Chris Jones ready to torture him. Jones had 6 pressures and 2 sacks last weekend.
Welcome back, Chris Jones 💪

Chiefs vs Bears preview – can Fields find some open field to run?
The Bears have been mightily disappointing so far. Yet, one of their only four wins last season was vs the Chiefs. Can they do it again? The Chiefs haven’t looked themselves either. Which team can improve?
Kansas City Chiefs form, news and injuries
The defending champions Kansas City Chiefs haven’t been themselves so far with both of their displays filled with turnovers and uncharacteristic mistakes.
“I don’t like what we’re doing,” Chiefs coach Andy Reid told reporters. “I’m not big on turnovers and I’m not big on penalties. We have too many of them right now. We can’t have the mistakes.”
The Chiefs dropped their first home game of the season and last weekend they scrambled to a 17-9 ugly win vs the Jaguars. It was their defence that won them this match with the offense once again underperforming heavily.
Last August the Chiefs lost against the Bears and they’ve been able to beat Chicago only twice in their last 5 meetings. Can Mahomes and his wide receivers finally start connecting?

- WR Kadarius Toney – questionable
- RB Isiah Pacheco – questionable

Chicago Bears form, news and injuries
Chicago Bears lost twice already and their losing streak is now up to 12 consecutive NFL games. The Bears lead the league after two games with 26 missed tackles. Their defence have been nothing short of horrible in both outings.
Yet, things are even worse on offense with Justin Fields looking pretty average so far. The most perplexing thing is the lack of designed runs for the QB, which was the most successful part of the Bears’ offence last season. The only way the Bears can turn things around and finally end the longest active losing streak in the league is if Fields starts running the ball more. His running abilities are undisputed and the coaches need to design some runs for him, so they start paying to his strengths and not stick to a gameplan that is not working.
Chicago Bears injury report:
- S Eddie Jackson – questionable
- G Nate Davis – questionable
- DE Khalid Kareem – out
- OT Braxton Jones – on IR list (out)
- C Doug Kramer – on IR list (out)
- WR Joe Reed – on IR list (out)
- OT Teven Jenkins – on IR list (out)
- LB Buddy Johnson – on IR list (out)
