Pittsburgh Steelers vs Cleveland Browns – game predictions

The Browns are visiting the Steelers as a -2 point favorites at the Acrisure Stadium.

Prediction 1: Steelers +2 @ -110 (1.90)

Based on what we saw from both teams in Week 1, this should easily go in Brown’s way but the Steelers will not allow another disaster to happen. They were blown out in the opener against the San Francisco 49ers, 30-7. Kenny Picket had a solid game with 232 passing yards, a touchdown and two interceptions but the final score speaks the opposite. Unlike them, the Browns were unbelievable against the Bengals winning 24-3. They played excellent defense on Joe Burrow, hitting him 10 times with 2 sacks. Nick Chubb ran for 106 yards and he will need to go over the century mark again to give the Browns a chance. The Pittsburgh will play a chip on their shoulders and with TJ Watt doing the dirty work on the defensive end, they will be able to at least cover the +2 points spread.

Prediction 2: Over 38 points @ -110 (1.90)

Both teams played under 38 points in their season opener which make us think twice with this prediction. Still, if we take a look at their previous matchups, 6 of the last 7 went over this margin. The Steelers will need to be very aggressive from kick off, to show the Browns that their defense cannot hold them back. The Browns themselves are very confident going into this game so we will see plenty of scoring on Monday Night.

Steelers vs Browns preview – Can Pittsburgh bounce back after the opener?

The Steelers were on a seven-game winning streak including the preseason before being blown out by the Niners. One tough loss cannot bring this team down and they will prove that on Monday night.

Pittsburgh Steelers form, news and injuries

The Steelers are going into the home opener under a lot of pressure after terrible performance last week. Kenny Pickett will need to be on top of his game and get the best out of his teammates so the Steelers can recover after the previous loss. Najcee Harris is another player that can make a difference in the upcoming game and the Steelers fans hope for a winning party on Monday.

Cleveland Browns form, news and injuries

After finishing at the bottom of the AFC North last season with a 7-10 record, the Browns made a statement that they will be much more dangerous this year around. The win against the Bengals proved that this team is for real. The defense they played is something that only elite teams can do, and it will be very interesting to see if they will be able to put a similar performance in Pittsburgh on Monday night.
