The Knicks are by far the most popular NBA franchise and this is why they will play their first home game of the season on opening night against their bitter local rivals the Boston Celtics. This will happen on October 25th with the Madison Square Garden certain to be bursting to the max with fans as this will also be officially the first match of the new NBA 2023-23 season.
Will the Knicks play on Christmas Day?
Not only the New York Knicks will play on Christmas Day but just like with the opening night they will have the honours to start the festivities with the first match of the famous Christmas Day lineup.
The NBA on Christmas Day will feature five games, with ABC or ESPN televising each matchup.
