Brooklyn Nets vs Philadelphia 76ers – Game Predictions
Contents
The Philadelphia 76ers came into the Playoffs as one of the contenders to win the Eastern Conference and based on what we saw so far in the opening round of the Playoffs, they are ready to go all the way. The Nets have been dominated in both games and their chances to bounce back and make the series more interesting are very slim.
Prediction 1: Philadelphia 76ers to Cover the Spread (-4.5)
The Philadelphia 76ers had a couple of heartbreaking losses in the past season and they have definitely learnt the lesson. Doc Rivers’ team has come into this series with full speed, and they will not put the foot off the gas any time soon. All the pressure is now on the Nets who need to win to stay alive in the series, but the Sixers will not allow such a scenario to happen. There is a huge gap between the two teams and the Sixers can even do some time management by the end of the series. Whether they decide to do so or not, the Sixers will have control of this game and win by covering the -4.5 point spread.
Prediction 2: Spencer Dinwiddie over 16.5 points
Spencer Dinwiddie is the leader of the Nets team after he returned to the team in the trade that sent Kyrie Irving to the Dallas Mavericks. The point guard is the most experienced player on the Nets roster, and he is the one who has the ball in his hands most of the time. Dinwiddie is a good scorer, and the Nets need him to score big in order to keep them alive in the series. He averaged 17.3 points per game during the regular season and scored 12 and 14 in the first two games of the series. Now with the series moving to Brooklyn, Dinwiddie will take the responsibility and step up which lead to him scoring over 16.5 points.
Nets vs 76ers Preview – Can the Nets get back into the series?
The Sixers had a total dominance in the first two games of the series. The Nets stood no chance in even making the games close and that will probably not change as the series moves to Brooklyn. There is a huge gap between the teams which will probably see the series being over very soon.
