Los Angeles vs Golden State – Game Predictions

William Hill Sportsbook features the Lakers as 2.5-point favorites at -154 on the moneyline compared to the Warriors (underdogs) at +112. The total is set at 221 points.

Wagerers have placed 58% of their bets on Golden State to cover and 91% of the money on the organization to win outright. 62% of the handle is on the total to go over.

Prediction 1: D’Angelo Russell under 2.5 threes @ 20/31 (-155)

D’Angelo Russell has averaged exactly 2.5 three-pointers per game this season. Recently though, he’s been hitting the under.

During this series, he’s gone under 2.5 on 4-of-5 occasions (80%). He’s only averaging 4.4 three-point attempts per game against the Warriors in the playoffs. In the former Ohio State Buckeye’s last 10 games, he’s scored under 2.5 threes six times.

During the postseason, Russell is only shooting 35.4% from beyond the arc. Lebron James and Anthony Davis should attempt most of the shots since it’s a potential closeout game.

Prediction 2: Draymond Green over 0.5 blocks 20/33 (-165)

Draymond Green is on a streak with three games in a row with a block. In his last 10 contests, he’s beaten the 0.5 prop and recorded at least one steal seven times (70%). He grabbed two or more twice.

Against the Lakers in the series, the Michigan State product is averaging 1.2 blocks, 0.7 higher than the number offered by William Hill Sportsbook.

Green is averaging 0.8 blocks per game this season. In every month this season, he’s averaged at least 0.7 blocks.

Since this is a win-or-go-home scenario, the 33-year-old will likely play 35 or more minutes, giving him a great opportunity to record at least one block during the night.

Lakers vs Warriors: Can the Warriors force a game 7?

Golden State has to win if it wants to extend its postseason dreams of winning another back-to-back title and play game 7 in the bay area.

The organization can earn revenge on James after he came back from down 3-1 to win the NBA Championship in 2016 with the Cavaliers. Only 13 teams in NBA history have come back to win from down 3-1.
