Los Angeles vs Golden State – Game Predictions
Contents
William Hill Sportsbook features the Lakers as 3-point favorites and –157 on the moneyline compared to the Warriors at +114 (same ML odds as game 3). The total is once again set at 227.5 points.
Bettors have placed 58% of their wagers on Golden State to cover the spread and 95% of the handle on Steve Kerr’s team to win straight up. 57% of the money is on the Lakers covering and increasing their series lead.
Prediction 1: Stephen Curry under 1.5 blocks/steals @ 20/33 (-165)
Stephen Curry’s line seems to be about .5 too high for combined blocks and steals, especially with the way he’s performed this season in regard to the two categories.
In eight of the 35-year-old’s last 11 away games (73%), he’s hit the under for his steals prop.
This postseason, the Davidson product has played in 10 games and achieved over 1.5 blocks and steals just three times (30%). During that span, he’s averaged 1.3 blocks and steals.
In six meetings against the Lakers, Curry has gone under 1.5 four times. The -165 line seems it should be closer to -200 for the under and provides value.
Prediction 2: Andrew Wiggins over 5.5 rebounds 20/27 (-135)
I recommended this bet for game 3 and Wiggins easily surpassed the prop in 28 minutes, nearly doubling the number by grabbing nine boards. His prop is set for the same for game 4 with identical odds.
In game 2, the 28-year-old grabbed just four rebounds but only played 30 minutes and didn’t see the floor during the fourth quarter.
In his last 11 contests, Wiggins has recorded seven or more rebounds 64% of the time (7-of-11). He recorded seven or more in six of the outings.
The former Kansas Jayhawk averaged 5.9 rebounds per game against the Kings in the first round of the playoffs. Against the Lakers, he’s averaging 6.3.
Before the playoffs, in his last full month (February), Wiggins averaged six boards per outing.
According to NBA.com, Wiggins has averaged 12.2 rebound chances per game during the 2022-2023 postseason. In the playoffs, he ranks 10th among all players in contested rebounds (27).
The forward will have another chance to beat the prop on Monday night. Since the game is a must-win, Golden State will probably perform better and prevent a blowout, leading to him playing more than 28 minutes.
Lakers vs Warriors – Can the Warriors tie up the series?
The Warriors are in practically a must-win situation on Monday night. Falling into a 3-1 gauntlet is extremely tough to come back from. Only 13 teams in NBA history have erased the deficit and won in the scenario.

Golden State is the sixth favorite to win the NBA Finals with 17/2 (+850) odds.
