The Los Angeles Lakers are in a great spot going into Game 4 of the Western Conference first round series. They have a 2-1 lead over the Grizzlies and if they play like they did in Game 3, they may get only one win away from the second round.

Los Angeles Lakers vs Memphis Grizzlies – Game Predictions
The Memphis Grizzlies had a terrible start in the previous game being down 35-9 after the opening quarter. With the lesson learnt, they need to step up tonight to prove that they are capable of getting back into the series against the Lakers. LeBron James has been through many tough Playoff battles and certainly knows how to take advantage of this situation.
Prediction 1: Memphis Grizzlies to Cover the Spread (+4.5)
Despite the heartbreaking loss in the previous game, the Grizzlies are still the better team in this series. They are younger and more athletic which will make the difference tonight. Shooting only 37% from the field is not something that will happen to them again. Jaren Jackson won the Defensive Player of the Year award and he will need to do a better job against Anthony Davis who had 31 points and 17 rebounds in the previous game. The Grizzlies are in a must-win situation just like they were going into Game 2 and they will have a shot at winning. Given the odds, the Lakers are the favorites so adding +4.5 spread on the Grizzlies is a wise move.
Prediction 2: Ja Morant over 28.5 points
Morant is the key man for the Grizzlies. He dropped 45 on the Lakers in Game 3 after he missed the second game with a hand injury. With the Grizzlies being down, Morant scored 22 consecutive point for the team. He is absolutely unstoppable and given the importance of Game 4, he will definitely go over 28.5 tonight.
Grizzlies vs Lakers Preview – Can the Lakers get one step away from advancing?
The Lakers had a furious start of Game 3 and they managed to hold the lead until the very end. Being 2-1 up with the next game playing in LA, things look very promising for them. However, they need to be on top of the game to hold off the upcoming Grizzlies who can be very dangerous with their back against the wall.
