Miami Heat vs New York Knicks – Game Predictions

Both teams came into the Playoffs as underdogs in the opening series and here they are fighting for a spot in the Eastern Conference Finals. The Heat re one game away of reaching that but if the Knicks manage to win tonight, anything is possible in Game 7.

Prediction 1: Miami Heat to Cover the Spread (-5.5)

The Miami Heat are the better team in the series and they have the destiny in their own hands. The Heat play excellent defense especially at home and that will be the decisive factor tonight as well. Miami knows how to put pressure on the ball and the Knicks have no reliable scoring option other than Jales Brunson. Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo are unstoppable on the offensive end, and the Heat will win this one by covering the -5.5 point spread.

Prediction 2: Jimmy Butler over 28.5 points

Jimmy Butler made a promise that the Heat will reach the NBA Finals this year and so far he is doing good in keeping up his word. He is having a fantastic series and he averages 31.9 points per game in the Playoffs. Butler knows that this is the chance for the Heat to advance and he will not allow the series to go back for the decisive game in New York. The Knicks will switch defenders on Butler with Josh Hart and RJ Barrett, but none of them will be able to stop him and Butler will go over 28.5 points tonight.

Heat vs Knicks Preview – Can the Knicks win on the road?

The Knicks stayed alive in the series with a Game 5 win and they will need to show up with the same attitude and determination in Miami as well. The Knicks had 16 more rebounds than the Heat in Game 5 and that is the hustle they need to show in order to push the series to the decisive game. A lot will depend on Jalen Brunson, who is the best scorer on the Knicks, but the fact is that he can not win alone. Julius Randle and RJ Barrett need to be on top of their game to give the Knucks any chances to push the series to Game 7.

Miami Heat News, Injuries, and Starting Lineups

The Miami Heat have had an amazing Playoff journey so far and they are only one win away from reaching the Eastern Conference Finals. Coach Eric Spoelstra still cannot count on Tyler Herro and Victor Oladipo is not coming back any time soon. However, Miami proved that they are a tough team to beat and will most likely advance to the next round.

Miami Heat Injury Report:

Tyler Herro and Victor Oladipo are out for the Heat.

Miami Heat Starting Lineup:

Max Struss, Gabe Vincent, Duncan Robinson, Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.

New York Knicks News, Injuries, and Starting Lineups

Immanuel Quickley is one of the key players coming off the bench for the Knicks and he will most likely miss tonight’s game. Veteran Evan Fournier is on the injury list for the first time in the series but the Frenchman didn’t see any Playoff action this season anyway. The Knicks had poor shooting percentages in the previous two games in Miami and if they do not improve that, they will probably finish the season tonight.

New York Knicks Injury Report:

Isaiah Roby and Jericho Sims are out for the season, while Immanuel Quickley and Evan Fournier are listed as day to day

New York Knicks Starting Lineup:

Julius Randle, Mitchell Robinson, Jalen Brunson, RJ Barrett and Quentin Grimes
