Miami Heat vs New York Knicks – Game Predictions

The way the Heat dominated Game 3 of the series, makes them the favorites not just to win Game 4 but the series as well. New York will have to keep the pace from the very start of the game since that wasn’t the case in the previous one.

Prediction 1: Miami Heat to Cover the Spread (-4.5)

The Miami Heat won the previous game by 19 points, and it was obvious that they took the foot of the gas after they built a comfortable lead. They are in a great situation to get only one step away from the conference finals if they win the next one at home, and they will definitely take advantage of the opportunity. The Heat’s game plan against the Knicks is working perfectly well and they do not need to have a special night to win this one. The Heat’s defense will remain an unsolved problem for the Knicks and Miami will win this one covering the -4.5 points spread.

Prediction 2: Total points over 206

The first two games of the series played in New York went over this margin while the last one was way under it. The Knicks had terrible shooting percentage in Game 3 and now will step up. The truth is that defense will make the difference in this series but in Game 4 both teams will have solutions for some situations and will definitely cover the 206 point margin.

Heat vs Knicks Preview – Can the Knicks slow down Jimmy Butler?

Both the Heat and the Knicks were underdogs in the opening round of the Playoffs and one of them will advance to the conference finals. The Heat are much closer to achieve that not just because of the fact they got the lead in the series, but also because of Jimmy Butler who is unstoppable in the Playoffs. He does everything on the court and the Knicks have not found a way to slow him down. Josh Hart is the one who took the responsibility to guard Butler, but Jimmy is playing the best basketball of his career.

Miami Heat News, Injuries, and Starting Lineups

The Miami Heat came into the Playoffs as the eight seed in the Eastern Conference and are now two wins away from reaching the Eastern Conference Finals. Despite the injuries of Tyler Herro and Victor Oladipo, the Heat look like a real contender and head coach Eric Spoelstra is doing a great job with the players he has. Jimmy Butler is having an epic Playoff performance and as long as he is playing on that level, the Heat have nothing to worry about.

Miami Heat Injury Report:

Tyler Herro and Victor Oladipo are out for the Heat.

Miami Heat Starting Lineup:

Max Struss, Gabe Vincent, Duncan Robinson, Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.

New York Knicks News, Injuries, and Starting Lineups

The Knicks stood no chance in the previous game and will have to step their game in order to be competitive in Game 4. They shot only 34.1% from the field and 20% from the three-point line in Game 4 which gives a lot of credit to the Heat defense as well. Julius Randle shot 4 of 15 from the field for a total of 10 points and if the Knicks All-Star does not pick up his game, the Knicks chances of making to the next round will face away.

New York Knicks Injury Report:

Isaiah Roby and Jericho Sims are out for the season.

New York Knicks Starting Lineup:

Julius Randle, Mitchell Robinson, Jalen Brunson, RJ Barrett and Quentin Grimes
