The Bucks are the team that has two players in the ALL-Defense First team – Brook Lopez and Jrue Holiday. This is the third time for Holiday to be named to the best defensive team and he also has two second team sections. The Bucks point guard averaged 19.2 points, 7.4 assists, 5.1 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game in the season. He received a total of 192 points, including 94 first team and 4 second-team votes.

Bucks’ center Brook Lopez is also in the All-Defense First team. He got 182 points and for the first time is named in the best defensive team after he had one second team selection. The veteran averaged 15.9 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game for the Bucks. He received 85 first and 11 second team votes.

Alex Caruso is probably the biggest surprise in the selection but the Bulls forward absolutely deserved his place in the All-Defense first team. He received 50 first team and 25 second team votes. Caruso’s numbers do not look impressive at all but what he did for the Bulls was more than the numbers can show. Given his stats sheet, Caruso averaged 5.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.5 steals per game.

Evan Mobley from the Cleveland Cavaliers rounds up the All-Defense first team. He is the youngest member of this team being only 21 years old and this is his first selection. The forward received 49 first team and 34 second team votes.
