Substitute Sloukas led all scorers with his 20 points in this match. Juan Hernangomez also had a solid debut with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Led by their new head coach Ergin Ataman, who spent the last 6 years in charge of Anadolu Efes, Panathinaikos have reasons to feel optimistic heading into round 2.
