Real Madrid predicted lineup vs Barcelona – Bellingham ready for El Clasico

It’s time for another edition of El Clasico and the Real Madrid predicted lineup vs Barcelona features Jude Bellingham who is set for his first competitive taste of what is surely the biggest fixture in the world.

Real Madrid have a one point advantage on Barcelona heading into this matchday of La Liga 2023/24. No titles will be decided here but it’s a chance for both sides to land an early blow on their rivals.

Barcelona vs Real Madrid La Liga team news

Real Madrid’s selection issues are not as severe as those of their opponents with the predicted Barcelona lineup for El Clasico missing a host of big names. The visitors by comparison have no definite absentees with the exception of Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao who have been missing for a couple of months now and are unlikely to feature until well into 2024.

Dani Ceballos and Arda Guler are also injury doubts, although neither would be serious contenders to start if fit. Carlo Ancelotti should have all of his other usual options available.

Jude Bellingham – England man rising to every challenge

It’s hard to imagine how Jude Bellingham could have done any more so far in his time in Madrid. Expectations were high given the price tag, but nobody in Spain saw this goal blitz coming with the 20 year old having netted 11 goals in 12 games for Los Blancos so far.

He has been composed in possession too, completing 88.9% of his passes in La Liga with an average of 1.7 key passes per game.

Vinicius Junior – Starting to fire again?

Vinicius Junior is the other main danger man for Real Madrid. Injuries and a new role hampered his start to the 2023/24 season but the Brazilian is finding some rhythm now and is starting to hit the heights of last year.

It’s 2 goals and 2 assists in his last 4 outings in a Real Madrid shirt and there was some excellent link-up play between Bellingham and Vinicius in the 2-1 win at Braga in midweek.

Fede Valverde – Real Madrid’s engine room

One area where Real Madrid will hope to have the edge in this game is in midfield. They have so much quality in that area of the pitch and could name at least five natural central midfielders in their eleven here given Eduardo Camavinga is an option at left-back.

Fede Valverde is often their driving force though and will do battle with the likes of Gavi and Ilkay Gundogan in the centre of the pitch in this game. He’s also a goal threat with 3 previous goals against Barcelona in his career.

Will Jude Bellingham play against Barcelona?

There was a minor doubt over Jude Bellingham’s participation in this game earlier in the week. However the Englishman has since ruled himself fit and looks certain to start the game which will be his first competitive taste of El Clasico.

Real Madrid predicted lineup vs Barcelona – The Final Word

There’s nothing Real Madrid players or fans enjoy more than a victory at the home of their great enemy. It’s a fixture that has produced some epic duels and feisty atmospheres with the 2002 pig’s head incident among the more notorious events in an unpredictable rivalry.

It’ll be a slightly different experience this time though with the match not taking place at Camp Nou and that may give Los Blancos further encouragement to kick on and sink their injury-ravaged rivals.
