Manchester United’s woeful performances this season once again reared the ugly head in a Manchester derby, as Pep Guardiola’s City were able to get a comfortable 3-0 success at Old Trafford. The result could have been an even better outcome for City if not for the excellent saves made by United goalkeeper Andre Onana.
The victory has kept Manchester City in the title race with the team only two points behind table leaders Tottenham. Meanwhile, Manchester United remain outside the top six places but picking up morale after such a big defeat will be the big task for Erik ten Hag.

Erling Haaland continued his incredible story in the Premier League with a brace against Manchester United at Old Trafford. It was a sublime performance from the Norwegian, who could have easily had a hat-trick on another day if not for the brilliant performances from United goalkeeper Andre Onana.
The Premier League’s top scorer had five shots at goal and he was able to come up against an impressive Onana between the opposition sticks. One of the biggest positives of Haaland in this match was his movement, and United failed to keep track of the forward for most of the game. Even when United defenders were close, the striker was able to shrug them off.
