The French capital gears up for this Sunday’s Le Classique as Paris Saint-Germain host Marseille in the sixth round of Ligue 1 matches in the 2023/24 season. Kylian Mbappé has been on scorching form already this season and has scored nine times in his last 10 league meetings against Marseille. The visitors are on a run of three straight draws but are motivated by the league table, a defeat here would see their capital rivals leapfrong them in the standings.

The last time the sides met it was a comfortable 3-0 win for the capital’s club, Mbappé at the double to secure all three points. It is reasonable to expect plenty of goals again based on both team’s form heading into this, BTTS has landed in four of Marseille’s last five and five of PSG’s last seven.
