Fulham welcome Leeds United to Craven Cottage on Saturday for the lunchtime Premier League kick-off. The home side bounced back from five successive defeats in all competitions last weekend when they overcame Everton at Goodison Park and will be looking for another win here to keep their faint hopes of European qualification alive.
The game is much more important for Leeds United who will perhaps be glad to be playing away from home after losing their last two games 5-1 and 6-1 at Elland Road. The Whites are in a precarious position in the league table and are just two points above the drop zone. A win here would be monumental for Javi Gracia’s side as they look to retain their Premier League status.
Let’s take a look at the head-to-head record between the two sides ahead of the crucial game tomorrow afternoon.
Leeds and Fulham: Overall Head to Head Record
In total, Leeds and Fulham have faced each other on 62 occasions. The first meeting between the two sides came in 1920 when they played out a boring 0-0 draw at Elland Road. Since then, the clubs have played 61 further matches and it’s Leeds United have come out on the upper hand on the most occasions with 26 wins.
Fulham have won 21 matches against Leeds, with their first victory against the Yorkshire club coming just two days after their first-ever encounter in December 2020. There has been a total of 21 draws in games between Fulham and Leeds over the years with the most recent one coming in 2017 in a Championship fixture.
Over the years, both clubs have faced each other in a variety of domestic competitions with Fulham, in particular, experiencing several promotions and relegations. Perhaps surprisingly, considering the long history of both clubs, it wasn’t until earlier this season that they played each other in the FA Cup.
On top of this screamer, João Palhinha had 10 ball recoveries, 7 duels won, 4 interceptions, 3 tackles won and 11 passes into the final third v. Leeds. So good at shielding defense, winning possession and starting attacks. A steal for £15m

Leeds vs Fulham: What Happened Last Time
The last time Leeds faced Fulham was in the FA Cup round of 16 earlier this season. The game was one of the first matches that Leeds United played under new manager Javi Gracia but the infamous ‘new manager bounce’ could do nothing to stop Fulham from winning the game.
The match was played at Craven Cottage but Leeds were actually the better team on the night. They had a goal ruled out by VAR and they peppered the Fulham goal with 16 shots. Despite that, the home side did what they needed to and eventually ran out as 2-0 winners thanks to goals from Palhinha and Manor Solomon.
Aleksandar Mitrovic, who started up front for Fulham in that particular game, is unavailable for the match tomorrow due to a red card he received in Fulham’s FA Cup quarter-final with Manchester United. The Serbian got physical with the referee, Chris Kavanagh, during a heated match at Old Trafford and he is currently serving an eight-game ban.
