David Moyes’ strategy did not work as he wanted it to, as West Ham took the lead and then pulled back in defence but lost the advantage.  Bournemouth had more possession and did not stop their attack until they equalised.

Bournemouth Player Ratings:

Neto 6/10 – the Brazilian goalkeeper made an important save but couldn’t do much to prevent the opposing team from scoring.

Aarons 7/10 – while he was on the pitch he was the best defender of the team making a couple of tackles, and winning 6 out of 9 ground duels, his only debt was the aerial duels where he didn’t win any of them.

Zabarnyi 6/10 – lost more than half of the ground and aerial duels, he also lost the ball 19 times.

Senesi 6/10 – made 3 clearances, blocked and intercepted, but lost 70% of individual duels.

Kerkez 6/10 – won 8 out of 13 duels but lost possession 16 times.

Billing 7/10 – had 90% of ball position, again created many scoring chances, and lost half of the midfield duels.

Rothwell 7/10 – when the team was behind, he was one of those who insisted on attacking again and again, in fact he crashed a post into the crossbar.

Brooks 6/10 – made seven crosses without success in any of them, twice on target.

Christie 7/10 – had 12 aerial duels of which he won seven however on the ground he lost the two he had.

Anthony 6/10 – the striker was not at his best, he lost the ball too many times and didn’t finish once.

Solanke 7/10 – Although he shot very few times throughout the game, he made 2 key passes and took the only bug chance to score the equaliser.

He was in charge of opening the scoring and adding excitement to a dull 50 minutes. The right winger was unbalanced with his dribbles and won more than half of the duels he had.
