Arsenal take on Tottenham on Sunday afternoon in the first North London derby of the Premier League season. Both teams have started the season strongly and are level on points going into the match, making this one of the most hotly anticipated clashes in recent years.
As the home side, Arsenal go into the match as favourites but Spurs’ early season form has certainly caught the eye. The match will take place at the Emirates Stadium and kick-off is at 14:00 UK time.

History in the making
If Tottenham are to keep a clean sheet on Sunday then they are going to need to do something that no Spurs team has managed since 1998. Arsenal have scored in 24 consecutive home derbies and given the attacking players that will be on show tomorrow, you would be foolish to bet against them making it 25.

Arsenal win the league at White Heart Lane
Back in April 2004, Arsenal were crowned as Champions of England in Spurs’ backyard following a 2-2 draw at White Hart Lane. After wrapping up the league title with a month to spare, the Gunners would then go on to complete the season undefeated – a feat no one has matched since.

Final prediction
This is a really tough game to call as although Arsenal have a formidable home record against Tottenham, Ange Postecoglou has got Spurs playing exceptionally well over the early weeks of the season. We’re going to call it down the middle and predict an exciting 2-2 draw.
