Al Nassr predicted lineup vs Abha – Can Stunning CR7 make it three goals in a row?

Cristiano Ronaldo has all the spotlight in this Al Nassr predicted lineup vs Abha, as the Saudi club aims to add to their 10-match winning streak at the Al-Awwal Park in their next Saudi Pro League clash.

Coming off a dominant 3-1 win over Istiklol Dushanbe in the AFC Champions League, CR7 & co look to maintain their seemingly unstoppable momentum with another big victory.

Al Nassr vs Abha Saudi Pro League team news

Luis Castro has been fortunate enough to see his side avoid the injury bug in the early parts of the 2023/24 season. Goalkeeper David Ospina remains the only member of the squad who is on the sidelines, as he has been unable to play for the club since sustaining an elbow injury way back in January.

Fortunately for Castro, a return to the Saudi Pro League means he can use more than five non-Saudi players – as the AFC restriction isn’t valid in the local division. That could mean more opportunities for Al Nassr’s summer signings to shine, even though the spotlight will firmly be on the in-form Ronaldo.

Al Nassr predicted lineup vs Abha – Our top three

Cristiano Ronaldo – Hungry for goals in a third successive game

Cristiano Ronaldo scored his first goal in the AFC Champions League against Istiklol, as predicted in the Al Nassr vs FC Istiklol Dushanbe predicted lineup. He’s scored three goals in his last two games and is aiming to make it three in a row.

The Portuguese star has a whopping 10 goals in seven league games. But as the hungry goal machine that he is, Ronaldo is itching to add to that.

Even though Abha are in the relegation zone, Argentine centre-back Fabian Noguera will try to rattle him with aggressive tackles and mark him tightly. But a confident Ronaldo can be dangerous, as he aims to prove by moving into the empty spaces and finishing off chances as ruthlessly as only he can.

Talisca – Exciting winger looks to light up the show

Amid all the spotlight on Cristiano Ronaldo, Brazilian winger Talisca has discreetly been bringing the goods for Al Nassr. With eight goals in all competitions, he’s a menacing factor about the team. Talisca is unlikely to be taken lightly by Abha, and their left-back Mohammad Naji will work hard to neutralize his threat.

But the unpredictable winger has been chaotic this season with his clever movement, pace and final product. He’ll look to create more chances for Ronaldo & co, as well as get himself into the key scoring areas to finish off opportunities clinically.

Marcelo Brozovic – Midfield general aims to dominate

The midfield orchestrator has been a key factor in Al Nassr’s dominance this season, being a commanding figure in midfield. He’s given more license to play a free role and along with his ball-winning duties, the Croatian loves to move the ball forward and create chances.

He’s likely to face stiff adversity from former Sevilla midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak, who can be a bullish and aggressive midfielder. Brozovic will aim to use his wit and experience to control the tempo of his side, moving the play around efficiently and creating big chances with his innovative passes.

Will Seko Fofana start against Abha?

Seko Fofana impressed in his side’s recent win, playing the entire game and helping them dominate possession. But he’s likely to get a rest and be benched for this to preserve him from injuries.

Al Nassr will also need more attack-minded players like Sadio Mane to start this one.

Al Nassr predicted lineup vs Abha – The Final Word

Al Nassr are flying high on momentum with their winning streak, but they can’t let complacency set in. Castro’s side needs to consider Abha as a prominent opponent and play to their best ability against them.

The pre-match favourites no doubt realise that they need to keep winning games to keep the pressure on league leaders Al Hilal, and keep moving up the table to stay alive in the title race.
