With this being one of two matches this weekend that won’t have playoff implications on the NRL ladder, there’s still plenty of great betting to be had on this clash. Here are our top predictions ahead of the Sea Eagles vs Tigers this Thursday:

Manly Sea Eagles to Win 13+ @ 1.91 (10/11)

Simply put, this is the logical bet. The West Tigers are a poor team, that have had a long season, suffering 19 losses. It’s hard to turn up and put on a stellar performance, particularly when the wooden spoon has all but been dealt their way. Manly, on the other hand, will be irritate to have narrowly missed out on the eight, and we expect to see some free flowing rugby league as a result, with the Sea Eagles finishing on a high.

Total Points 40-49 @ 2.90 (15/8)

This should be a moderately high scoring game, with a healthy return for the match ending in the 40-49 point range. While the Tigers are no strangers to losing, they’re also reasonably adept at crossing the try line too, and we say the combination of their ability to score in a losing cause, and the Sea Eagles attacking rugby will make this a 40-49 result.

With 10 wins and 12 losses, it hasn’t been an atrocious season for Manly, but it’s been far from their best as well.

West Tigers

It has, however, been an atrocious season for the West Tigers. Unless they can pull off an upset of epic proportions here (read: the Tigers winning by 80+ points), then they’ll wind up with the wooden spoon yet again in 2023. It’s been a while between drinks for the team, with only four wins this season and 19 losses to date.
