Best NRL game tonight
Trying to decide which NRL games today are worth watching? That’s a tough one, considering how evenly matched both of this weekend’s preliminary finals are.
Last time the Penrith Panthers and Melbourne Storm met at this stage of the season was two years ago, where the Panthers gritted out a tight 10-6 victory to book their spot in the Grand Final. With Melbourne being as mercurial as it gets the last few weeks (winning against the Broncos, then losing 26-0 the next week), the big question is which Storm side will show up in Penrith? If the side that has made the Grand Final four times in the past seven years, lifting the trophy twice, then we can expect a cracking contest in the NRL tonight.
The Warriors will also be looking to put in a big performance, as they face a tough task heading to Brisbane to take on an impressive Broncos team. The New Zealanders were back to their best last weekend against the Newcastle Knights, and if they bring the same level at Suncorp, could well upset the No 2 side this season.
