What is the occupation of Chelsea Gray’s wife Tipesa Moorer?
Just like her partner Tipesa Moorer used to be a basketball player. She didn’t have the successful career of Chelsea Gray though. Still, she was the main forward for the California State University. Also, after going undrafted and failing to make a career of playing basketball Tipesa Moorer developed as a gifted Director of Operations for her University.
She graduated from Long Beach State University with a degree in Communications and a minor in Marketing. She also received her graduate degree in Sport Management in 2015.
Starting in the 2013-14 season Tipesa Moorer served as a Director of Operations for the Long Beach State women’s basketball program. She had two successful stints in the role while honing her sport management skills.
Moorer also officiates high school games and joined the Los Angeles chapter of the California Basketball Officials Association.
There are still many unknowns about Chelsea Gray’s wife. Most of those are connected to her childhood. Her parents are not known to the general public. It is known that Tipesa Moorer was born in California on May the 05th but not which year. If we ever find out we’ll make sure to let you know.
Chelsea Gray’s wedding day and where the happy couple live
Chelsea Gray and Tipesa Moorer got engaged on June 27, 2018. The couple then had a lavish wedding ceremony on November 2, 2019, at the Bel Air Bay Club in L.A. The wedding was attended by over 300 guests. Among them were the athlete’s teammate Candace Parker, the Chicago Sky’s Jantel Lavender, and the former Sparks player Ify Ibekwe per Outsports. The party after was reportedly one of the main fun events of the entire year in LA.
In an emotional Instagram post shortly after the wedding, Tipesa Moorer showed how dedicated she is to her partner: “I admire her drive to be better, her accountability in every failure, and her desire to prove why she’s one of the best. So when you see me acting crazy on the sidelines and cussing out the refs (rightfully so) understand that I’ll always be an advocate for her goals (and FOULS), a fan in all her success, and passionate about her passions.”
The couple has homes both in LA and Las Vegas where Chelsea Gray plays right now. Their main residence is thought to be in Los Angeles.
