The final round of the Travelers Championship is set for an electrifying finish, with Keegan Bradley leading the way at 21-under par with the tournament’s 2019 champion Chez Reavie one stroke behind.

It would be redemption for Bradley since he’s come close before recording a runner-up finish four years ago. World No. 4 Patrick Cantlay sits five strokes back at 16-under after posting a 9-under 61 on Saturday. Rickie Fowler carded the low round of the day with a 10-under 60 and leads a pack of players at 15-under par.

Denny McCarthy trails in the group at 15-under. He was the leader through the first two rounds but couldn’t get things going during round three and finished even.

There will be plenty of head-to-head matchups to bet on for the final round. Here are two we saw value in:

Travelers Championship Day 4 Predictions: Matchups (18 holes)

The following matchups are only for the final round.

Eric Cole over Chad Ramey @ 20/27 (-135)

PGA Tour rookie Eric Cole has begun to make a name for himself and has put the golf world on notice. The 35-year-old nearly won his first title at the Honda Classic in late February but fell in a playoff to Chris Kirk. He had an unlucky lip-out for birdie from 10 feet, which would have extended the playoff.

Since then, he’s earned six top 27 finishes in 14 events, with his biggest highlight being an overnight lead after day one at the PGA Championship.

Cole has made four cuts in a row, including six of the last seven, compared to Ramey, who is much more inconsistent. Before making the cut this week in Connecticut, he had missed two consecutive and four of his last eight.

One of the major differences between the two is their final-round scoring averages:

Final round scoring averages

  • Cole: 68.69 (13 rounds) Rank: 12th
  • Ramey: 71.3 (10 rounds) Rank: 159th

The Palm Springs, California native Cole is also much higher in the Official World Golf Rankings at No. 81 in comparison to Ramey at No. 205.

Cole is being offered at -167 on other books, such as Caesars and William Hill, so the -135 is a much better number.

The two players’ tournament results are featured below.

Stephan Jaeger over Zach Johnson @ 20/33 (-165)

After riding with Jaeger yesterday to beat Johnson and the result ending in a push, I’m going with him again on Sunday with the exact same line. Jaeger nearly edges out Johnson by a full stroke for their stroke averages this year on tour.

Fourth-round scoring averages

  • Jaeger: 70.42 (19 rounds) Rank: 102nd
  • Johnson: 71.33 (9 rounds) Rank: 161st

There is also a significant difference in the two players’ Official Golf World Rankings. Johnson ranks 258th and plays every few weeks, whereas Jaeger ranks 118th and plays a full schedule.

As I stated in the round three betting prediction, Johnson has more trouble putting four solid rounds together than Jaeger does, primarily due to their ages and where they’re at in their careers.

The stats for both players are showcased below.
