The Ryder Cup is set for plenty of fireworks Sunday in Italy as the United States attempts to pull off an improbable miracle, trailing 10.5-5.5.

Team Europe continued their dominance on Saturday morning, winning three of the four matches, including Viktor Hovland and Ludvig Aberg handing the USA its largest loss ever in the history of the Ryder Cup thanks to their 9&7 win over Scottie Scheffler and Brooks Koepka.

The afternoon was a different story, with the U.S. cutting into the lead by flipping the script and winning three of four matchups.

Patrick Cantlay and Wyndham Clark won the final match of the day 1-up over Rory McIlroy and Matt Fitzpatrick. Drama ensued on the 18th green between Cantlay’s caddie, Joe LaCava and McIlroy. This argument would continue as everyone left the facility, and it appeared the two were headed for a UFC bout in the octagon. Shane Lowry had to hold McIlroy back as he gave a piece of his mind to members of the U.S. team in the parking lot.
