F1 driver of the day: How can I vote?

The F1 Driver of the Day Award allows F1 fans to vote on who they think is having the best performance in the Grand Prix. It’s a great way for fans to get involved in the race and show their support.

How The F1 Driver of the Day is Chosen

The F1 Driver of the Day award was launched back in 2016, and the first to win it was Romain Grosjean in the 2016 Australian Grand Prix. Fun fact: Grosjean also won the 2nd F1 Driver of the Day Award one race later, in Bahrain.

The award doesn’t affect the race whatsoever, and the drivers don’t receive any bonus points for it.

Who chooses the Driver of the Day?

The F1 Driver of the Day is chosen by the fans! Fans vote for who they think had the best drive in the Grand Prix. And it’s not always the actual winner of the Grand Prix that wins the award. Sometimes it’s a driver that finished in P5, for example but had a spectacular race. Factors include the ability to overcome obstacles, speed, overtakes, and more.
