After an exciting weekend in Premier League, we are heading right into a mid-week round for Matchday 33. The end of the season is getting closer with each day and things are getting hot at the top, as well as the bottom.

With that in mind, we have prepared a preview of all games that are scheduled to be played in this round, as well as our favourite Premier League Matchday 33 betting tips, so check them out.

Wolves vs Crystal Palace – Tuesday, 19:30 pm

The two teams that were supposed to be in the midst of the relegation battle are actually both pretty safe from it, although there are still games left to be played. Still, Wolves are six points ahead of the first team in the relegation zone, while Crystal Palace are three points ahead of the Wolverhampton.

Our Prediction: Wolves 0-0 Crystal Palace

After three wins in a row, Crystal Palace drew in the last round, so they remain unbeaten in the last four games. Wolves aren’t in that good of a form, but they did do well recently and managed to stay away from the relegation zone for now. In any case, both teams will likely be pleased with a draw in this match, so that’s exactly what we expect to happen.

Furthermore, Palace are missing Zaha and Wolves have a capable defence that can keep a clean sheet. Also, Wolves’ offence is less than impressive this season as they scored as many goals as Southampton in the last place. So, 0-0 sounds like a reasonable outcome for this match.

Aston Villa vs Fulham – Tuesday, 19:45 pm

Both Aston Villa and Fulham are having great seasons and they surprised many with their performances so far. Aston Villa ended their five-game winning streak in the last round after drawing against Brentford, while Fulham won their last two games after hitting a slump and losing four in a row before that.

Our Prediction: Aston Villa 3-1 Fulham

In any case Aston Villa are currently six points ahead of Fulham as they sit in the sixth place, but they also played a game more. So, both teams will be looking for a win here as they try to earn a spot in European competitions for next season. That being said, Aston Villa have really been impressive since Emery took the over as the manager and with them hosting the game, we expect them to win it.

Fulham will once again be without Aleksandar Mitrovic, while Aston Villa is missing a few players as well. Still, we can see both teams scoring in this match and with Villa winning, our prediction is 3-1 for the home team.

Leeds vs Leicester – Tuesday, 20:00 pm

One of the most exciting duels in this Premier League round is the Leeds vs Leicester matchup, with both teams fighting for their life and hanging by a thread. Leeds are currently one point ahead of Leicester, who are at the same number of points as the first team in the relegation zone at the moment.

Our Prediction: Leeds 1-2 Leicester

Leicester managed to break a four-game losing streak by beating Wolves in the last round, while Leeds lost three games in a row. Both teams are missing a few players, most notably Dallas is out for the home team and Evans and Pereira for the guests, while Maddison should be back in this game and boost Leicester’s chances of getting the win.

We believe that Leicester are the better team and that they can find a way to win this crucial match. However, they are also pretty lacking on the defensive end, so we can see Leeds scoring as well, making 1-2 our choice for correct result in this duel.

Nottingham Forest vs Brighton – Wednesday, 19:30 pm

The struggling Forest team will host Brighton on Wednesday, trying to catch one of the last trains for salvation. At the moment, Nottingham are in the relegation zone and they have lost six of their last seven matches. On the other hand, Brighton are sitting in the eight place in the standings and trying to secure a spot in European competitions for next season.

Our Prediction: Nottingham Forest 1-3 Brighton

Given the recent form by both teams, there is little doubt who the favourite is. After all, Nottingham Forest have one point in the last seven rounds, while Brighton only lost once in that same period, winning four of those seven games. Furthermore, Nottingham Forest are dealing with many injuries at the moment.

So, our prediction is for Brighton to win this game and we can see them scoring multiple goals. We can also see Nottingham Forest finding the net in this match, so 3-1 for Brighton sounds like the most realistic outcome.

Chelsea vs Brentford – Wednesday, 19:45 pm

Not many people expected to see Brentford five points ahead of Chelsea at this stage of the Premier League season, but that is the case at the moment and it is a testament to both how good a season Brentford had and just how much Chelsea disappointed so far. After all, the two teams are sitting in the tenth and eleventh place in the standings.

Our Prediction: Chelsea 1-1 Brentford

At the moment, both teams are struggling to get points. Brentford have been without a win in the last six games, while Chelsea failed to win in the last five, losing three of them. Neither of the teams also has major issues with injuries, so that will not affect the outcome, which we expect to be a draw between two teams that haven’t got a strong motive to chase a win at this time.

Given how both teams have struggled on the defensive end this season, we can also see both teams scoring in this match, so we expect the game to finish with one goal on each side.

West Ham vs Liverpool – Wednesday, 19:45 pm

The Reds managed to win two games in a row and keep their hopes of getting into the Top 4 alive, although their chances aren’t that high at the moment. Meanwhile, West Ham are in good form right now with three wins in the last five games, thanks to which they’ve gotten into a safe zone, with six points more than the first team in the relegation zone.

Our Prediction: West Ham 1-2 Liverpool

With both teams doing well in their most recent matches, we expect a close and exciting game. However, Liverpool can’t afford to waste any more points this season if they want to play in Champions League next season and these are the games that they absolutely must win, which we can see them doing.

That being said, we also expect West Ham to score in this match as well, given their good form and Liverpool’s poor defence this season. So, 2-1 to Liverpool sounds like a realistic outcome to us.

Man City vs Arsenal – Wednesday, 20:00 pm

The derby of the Premier League Matchday 33 is the Man City vs Arsenal duel. The two teams in a close title race will meet on Wednesday and the outcome of this game could decide who wins the league. At the moment, Arsenal is five points ahead, but they also played two more games than the defending champions.

Our Prediction: Man City 3-1 Arsenal

The Gunners enter this game after drawing three times in a row, which is the reason why this title race is this close in the first place. Of course, Man City have played their role and took advantage of this Arsenal’s run by winning six games in a row and eight of their last nine matches in the league.

Given the fact that Man City are in much better form right now and playing at home, we expect them to win this game. Also, Arsenal conceded seven goals in the last three games, so we expect Man City to score three goals, with Arsenal netting one as well.

Everton vs Newcastle – Thursday, 19:45 pm

After the convincing win over the Spurs in the last round, Newcastle United is now firmly in place to make it to Champions League next season as they are sharing third spot with Man Utd. Meanwhile, Everton is not in such a bad form, but they remain in the relegation zone right now.

Our Prediction: Everton 0-2 Newcastle

Even though Everton is fighting for their life in Premier League, we can’t see them doing well against Newcastle, who won five of their last six matches in the league. After all, Newcastle has been the much better team the entire season and they are looking at playing in Champions League next season.

So, we expect a win for the guests and we don’t see Everton scoring in this match since Newcastle relied on their defence this season for good results. That’s why our prediction is 2-0 to Newcastle.

Southampton vs Bournemouth – Thursday, 19:45 pm

The Saints have struggled this season and they are seemingly on their way to Championship as they are currently last in the standings, five points behind the first team outside of relegation zone and nine points behind their next opponent Bournemouth, who is also in danger and will fight hard for a win here.

Our Prediction: Southampton 1-1 Bournemouth

With three wins in the last five games, Bournemouth managed to escape the relegation zone and put themselves in relatively good position ahead of the final matches of the season. Southampton still has a chance to stay up, but it’s not a great one and given their recent form, we don’t see them winning this game.

On the other hand, they are hosting this game and that’s why we would go with a draw instead of Bournemouth to win. We also see both teams scoring, so 1-1 seems like the most realistic outcome.

Tottenham vs Man Utd – Thursday, 20:15 pm

The Spurs enter this match after falling apart against Newcastle in a game that they lost 6-1. Meanwhile, Man Utd is on a three-game winning streak right now and they are trying to secure their place in Champions League next season, which they are very close to doing since they also have some postponed matches to play in the coming days.

Our Prediction: Tottenham 1-1 Man Utd

With three wins in a row, the Red Devils are currently in good form, while Tottenham continues to struggle after they lost 6-1 to Newcastle and fired their interim coach. Still, they are hosting this game and they have the quality to put up a fight against Man Utd, which is why we can see the game ending in a draw.

In addition to this, we can see both teams scoring in this match as well, so a 1-1 draw sounds like an outcome that would be pleasing for both sides at this time.
