Leeds vs Monaco Odds, Predictions, and Free Bets
Leeds is continuing their preparation for the Premier League season against a formidable opponent.
Over 2.5 Goals
In both friendly matches Leeds played in the past ten days or so, the result was the same, 2-1 Leeds victory. Coach Jesse Marsch needs to continue pushing his squad to build an offensive identity.
Both Teams to Score – Yes
Monaco played three friendly games in the same period as Leeds, drawing two of them, against Sevilla and Fiorentina, while beating Empoli 1-0. They passed the BTTS mark in games they split the points.
Draw
It seems that Monaco has a knack for playing draw games in friendlies, and with Leeds also hovering over that result, it makes sense to see it as a split game.
Leeds vs Monaco Preview: The Final preparation
Leeds
Leeds has a lot of work to do before the season comes to a close. They are in the bottom six teams, and all of them are in a midst of a relegation battle even if Leeds is not below that line just yet. They have accumulated only four wins this season, and two of them came in their last three games before the season was stopped because of the World Cup. The team is now full when it comes to potential availability issues, even though there are a couple of injury worries with Junior Firpo and Stuart Dallas. Rodrigo, who is the team’s best scorer with nine goals, should lead the attacking formation against Monaco. Leeds is lacking a proper second striker, it is widely considered that they will try to bring some reinforcements in the January transfer window, and the money shouldn’t be an issue because the alternative could be even worse than spending a bit more funds to stay in the Premier League.
Monaco
The French side has higher ambitions than their opponents. They are on a brink of fighting for a Champions League place next season, but they have a lot of work to do to make sure they get ahead of the competition. When we look at their form in the training period, they are not scoring a lot of goals, one of the reasons is they are still missing some key players from the World Cup, as well as through injuries. Auxerre will be their first match when the season continues in less than ten days, it’s an away game, and interestingly, this is one of the reasons they have decided to play their friendly matches far from home. They have been terrific in Ligue 1 this season playing away games winning five of them, and drawing once as well as losing a single game. PSG is the only team that is better in that aspect. Center forward Myron Boadu is their only injured player right now, and won’t be able to play against Leeds.
