With those wins, they are at three for the season which doesn’t seem all that impressive, but with plenty of games still coming up, they will have a chance to make a better impression. With these teams it’s about player development, Utrecht’s team is one of the oldest of all the U21 teams in the league with an average age of 19.3. They have a big squad of 27 players available, and with no injuries to be concerned about, coach Darije Kalezic will have a full set of players to choose his team from. Their go-to guy in the attack is Derensili Sanches Fernandes with four goals, and he might get a chance to contend for a senior team shortly which is the ultimate goal for any of these young players. Utrecht will be missing some players, Yuya Ikeshita is suspended, while Tommy St. Jago and Arthur Zagre are injured.
