Tsitsipas is one of the main favorites to win the French Open. Currently, he is ranked at no. 5 in the world, two spots lower than his career high. The Greek has yet to win the first title this season but he has a solid record of 28-8 including 14-4 on clay. He had a pretty tough match in the opening round against Jiri Vesely winning 7-5, 6-3, 4-6, 7-6. Previously, Tsitsipas made it to the semifinal in Rome where he lost to Daniil Medvedev. His best results this season were the finals at the Australian Open and ATP in Barcelona. Last season, Tsitsipas lost to Holger Rune in the round of 16 and before that, he made it to the final where he lost to Novak Djokovic after having a 2-0 lead.
