Bucsa indeed won only one game in the previous match against Swiatek but the world no. 1 is coming back from a recent injury and she will not go as hard as usual from the beginning of the match. Also, Bucsa is more experienced now and will manage to win at least a couple of games in both sets.

Swiatek is the French Open defending champion and is going after her third straight title. There is no doubt that she is the best player at the moment but her recent injury, which forced her to retire in the Rome semifinal match, can may some difficulties for her. The world no. 1 is 28-6 for the season and 12-2 on clay. She won two titles this season lifting the trophy in Stuttgart and Doha and she lost in the finals in Madrid, Indian Wells and Dubai.
Cristina Bucsa
Busca is ranked at no. 70 at the moment with her career-best being four spots higher. The Spaniard is 12-11 for the season including 4-5 on clay. The 25-year-old lost the last three matches in the opening rounds of Madrid, Rome, and Strasbourg, all of them in three sets. Her best result this season was the third round of the Australian Open where she lost to Swiatek and reached the round of 16 in Stuttgart. This is the second time for Bucsa to play in the main draw at the French Open and she has yet to win a match.
