Bernarda Pera
Pera is enjoying the best career ranking as she stands at No. 32 on the WTA list. The American is 9-9 for the season and 2-1 on clay. Her last tournament was in Charleston at the beginning of the month where she lost in the third round to Darya Kasatkina by 6-3 and 7-6. The 28-year-old is back at the Mutua Madrid Open after missing last year’s tournament.
