Griekspoor has won two ATP titles this year and he is one of the best players than no one really talks about. The Dutchman is excellent on hard surface and even though, Broady knows to be a tough opponent, Grikespoor will be the one to move forward to the next round.

Both players have their chance in this match and the gap is not as big as their current rankings shows. They can both serve well even though the consistency is questionable. However, they are great fighters and this will be a long match with many ups and downs that will probably go in the decisive set and definitely over 22.5 games in total.

Griekspoor is currently 37th in the ATP rankings and his career high is No. 29. The 27-year-old is 26-12 for the season including 9-4 on hard.
Griekspoor will make his first appearance at the Citi Open coming off couple of weeks he played in the Bundesliga. His last official match was the opening round loss to Marton Fucsovics at Wimbledon.
He had a solid grass season winning the tournament in Hertogenbosch defeating Jordan Thompson in the final. That was his second title this year after winning the Challenger in Pune at the beginning of the year where he defeated Benjamin Bonzi in the final.
Liam Broady
Broady is 125th in the world and has never been higher than 116th place in the ATP rankings. The Brit is 27-16 record for the season including 8-3 on hard.
The 29-year-old is coming off a 7-6, 6-4 opening round win over Corentin Moutet.
Broady’s biggest win of the season came in the Wimbledon’s second round where he defeated world No. 4 Casper Ruud before losing to Denis Shapovalov in the third round.
Broady has won one title this season at the challenger in Vilnius.
Tallon Griekspoor vs Liam Broady Head to Head
Liam Broady won the only previous match against Tallin Griekspoor. It was the second qualifying round for the 2019 Wimbledon when the British player won 6-4, 6-7, 6-2.
