Despite the fact that there is still one match day left, Group C already has two qualifiers. Serbia, led by Novak Djokovic, and the Czech Republic will engage in a fierce battle to determine the group’s top. See our in-depth analysis and Davis Cup predictions.
Our favourite Serbia vs Czech Republic predictions
So far, neither team has suffered a defeat. There is considerable doubt about who will win, but we have the greatest tennis prediction for today.
Serbia to win 2-1
The two sides last met in a best-of-five encounter 10 years ago. On that occasion, Novak Djokovic faced Radek Stepanek and Tomas Berdych in two singles sets. The Serbian player won both matches, but his partner Tomas Berdych lost two, and the Czech Republic won the doubles match.
Djokovic and Lajovic are the only players from the previous match who will be present in this edition. I believe the team recognized that they have a better doubles partnership and the strength of the number one ATP ranking. Dusan Lajovic has already had a poor experience against the Czechs, and if he is the one competing in singles, he could suffer the same fate.
Serbia vs Czech Republic: Serbian team and Novak Djokovic go for the lead
This is one of the most equally matched matches in history. Their rivalry stretches back to 1935, when Serbia was a part of the former Yugoslavia and the Czech Republic was known as Czechoslovakia. Since then, there have been 12 duels, with the Czech Republic winning 7 of them.
Serbia vs. Spain was one of the most anticipated matches of day two. Although the absence of Carlos Alcaraz diminished the excitement in this match, it was nonetheless noteworthy due to Novak Djokovic’s debut in this group round.
The match began with Laslo Djokovic dominating, winning 6-4 6-4. Following that, the world number one was astonished with their strategy and finishing techniques to seal Serbia’s victory, and ultimately Nikola Cacic and Miomir Kecmanovic established the final 3-0.

Jeri Lehecka easily defeated Soonwoo Kwon 6-1 7-5 to secure victory for his team. Then, in the model, Jakub Mensik and Adam Pavlasek did an excellent job of reversing the score after losing the first set.
