Charleston Open Doubles 2023: Contenders, Odds, and Predictions

Charleston Open 2023 Doubles Predictions

The Charleston Open Doubles is delighting fans with exciting quarterfinal fixtures. We have half of our semi-final participants in the bag and await who joins them in the battle for the title. We are down to the fateful six at the moment and this number will reduce by one-third as the semi-finalists are confirmed. Playing on the green clay in the first tournament of the clay court circuit adds to the unpredictability, making the spectacle grand for fans in attendance and watching it from their television screens.

As it stands, only two pairs remain, and they will be fighting for the glory and the winning prize in this meeting.

Olmos/ Shibahara vs Collins/Krawczyk Prediction: Collins/Krawczyk to Win

Olmos and Shibahara teamed up for the time in Charleston Open. The green clay suited their style as they made it to the final of the event. They have made little work of their rivals, earning 2-0 victories at each time of asking.

In Collins and Krawczyk, Olmos and Shibahara have a tough combination to unlock. This is the third time the duo have lined up and at each of asking they have gone far into competitions. They made it to the third round in Australian Open 2022 and then reached the semi-finals at Wimbledon six months later.

The third time may be the charm and because of that, we are backing Collins and Krawczyk. They have been troubled by their rivals in each of their three outings at the Charleston Open but managed to find a way forward. Olmos and Shibahara stand in their way and we believe they will find a way to pass them and lift the Charleston Open trophy.
