It takes place from April 3 -9 on Daniel Island in Charleston, South Carolina. The matches will be played on the newly renovated Credit One Stadium with a capacity of 11,000 spectators. The tournament will have a 56-player singles draw and 16-team doubles draw.  The singles final will be played on Sunday, April 9 at 1:30 p.m., preceded by the doubles final at 11 a.m.

The 2023 edition of the Charleston Open will see 56 WTA stars and 16-team doubles draw battle for the total prize money of $780,637. The singles champion will receive 470 points and $120,150, while the runner-up will get 305 points and $74,155. The semifinalists will earn 185 points and $37,330 each, and the quarterfinalists will get 100 points and $18,200 each. The players who reach the round of 16 will receive 55 points and $9,340 each, while those who make it to the second round will get 30 points and $5,120 each. The players who lose in the first round will receive 1 point and $3,740 each.
