Set 1 – Over 10.5 Total Games

The first three sets played by Carlos Algaraz averaged almost 12 sets each. Jeri Lehecka adapted very well in his first match so we expect to see a great level from the Czech player. We expect to see a very even match, in which no player will concede until at least 10.5 games have passed.

Over 22.5 Total Games

We can count on one hand the number of players who have managed to beat Carlos Alcaraz this season. The level of the Spanish tennis player is even better than last season. Winner 36 of his 40 matches of the season favourite.

However, it has to be taken into account that the Spanish player has only played seven matches on grass during his entire career. The Czech player also does not have much experience on this type of surface. Based on this data we expect that both players will have problems consolidating and that we will see a duel with more than 22.5 wins.

Carlos Alcaraz

The loss to Novak Djokovic in the semi-final of the French Open seems to have affected the young Spaniard a little. At least that was what was noticeable in his first match against the number 83 on the ATP rankings, Arthur Rinderknech.

The French player qualified for the first round of the Queen’s Club Championships as a lucky loser. What looked like a formality for Carlos Alcaraz turned out to be a nightmare. In the first set, Rinderknech converted two break points to win 4-6. Carlos managed to turn the score around but won 7-5 7-6, but he certainly struggled to succeed.

Jiri Lehecka

This is only the second year that Lehecka has participated in grass-court tournaments. Last year he had a terrible experience, losing all three of his matches. This season he already has two wins and one loss on this surface.

In the first round, Jiri faced Fokina, who was solid in the first set, so it was a tiebreak in which the Czech player was better. In the second set, Fokina did not keep up the pace, and it was enough for Lehecka to convert a breakpoint.

Alcaraz vs Lehecka Head to Head

Both players are still very young and have only a few years on the circuit. With Carlos Alcaraz’s numbers, it would seem that he has many years on the circuit, but there are still many players I have not faced, Jiri Lehecka is one of them.
