ATP Wimbledon 2023 Predictions – Best Tips for the Men’s Event

All roads lead to the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club (AELTC) as Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic square off against each other in the final of the Wimbledon Championships. kick off this week. Will the Spaniard won his first Wimbledon title today, or will it be business as usual for Novak Djokovic?

Wimbledon 2023 Predictions – Outright Winner

We would like to point out that the most successful player in the history of this tournament is Roger Federer. The Swiss player has won a record 8 Wimbledon titles. Alongside Bjorn Borg, he’s also tied for most consecutive titles, having won five Wimbledon Championships in a row between 2003 and 2007. However, Roger Federer will not feature in this year’s gentlemen’s event, as he retired just last year.

It may interest you to know that the last four Wimbledon titles were won by Novak Djokovic; the Serb has reigned supreme seven times at this tournament. If Novak Djokovic wins this year’s event, he’ll tie the record for most Wimbledon titles, and also most titles in a row (Open Era record). Furthermore, the former World number 1 has won 23 grand slam titles, more than any other male player; he has a chance to add another grand slam title to his tally here.

To be fair, Carlos Alcaraz is coming into this match on the back of 11 consecutive victories; he won 16 of his last 17 matches, with his only loss in that stretch coming at the hands of Novak Djokovic. However, Alcaraz is going up against arguably the greatest tennis player of all-time. Novak Djokovic has won 13 matches in a row, and is on course to win his fifth consecutive Wimbledon title. It’s also worth mentioning that the Serb won the previous two grand slam titles of 2023; and if he wins this match, he’ll overtake Alcaraz for World number 1. All things considered, Novak Djokovic should retain his title.
