The 2021 Cincinnati Open champion is 17th in the ATP rankings which is 12 spots advancement since the beginning of July. The German is 35-19 for the season and 7-8 on hard.
Last week, he lost in the second round in Toronto 6-1, 6-2 to Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.
Zverev won one title this season in his hometown of Hamburg.
Grigor Dimitrov
Dimitrov is 19th in the rankings and his career best is No. 3. The Bulgarian is 28-14 for the season and 7-5 on hard.
He reached the semfinals in Washington two seeks ago where he lost to Daniel Evans 6-3, 7-6.
Dimitrov has not won a single title since he won in Cincinnati in 2017. His best result this season was the final in Geneve where he lost to Nicolas Jarry.
