Contents
Both players made it to the round of 16 against the odds and now have a unique opportunity to go deep at the Citi Open.
Alexander Shevchenko +2.5 games
Daniel Evans is not having a good season and he is still trying to get back in his recognizable shape. He played well in the opening round against Gregoire Barrere who is very good on hard surfaces. Evans is considered as favorite in the match against Shevchenko but things would not go smoothly against the young Russian. Shevchenko is improving his game consistently this season and will be able to cover the +2.5 games spread in this match.
Over 22.5 games
Neigher Shevhcneko or Evans are known as great servers. Shevchenko is in better shape in general while the Brit is much more experienced. This will be a match that can go in both directions and as the stakes are high, it will be a tough tennis battle that will go over 22.5 games.
