U.S. Open cut rule
After two rounds, the top 60 players in the U.S. Open field (including ties) proceed to the third and fourth rounds of the competition.
The U.S. Open’s rules are stricter than the PGA Championship and Open Championship’s rule (top 70 players and ties). The Masters is the most difficult with the top 50 players plus ties.
