The third major golf tournament of the year is set to get underway on Thursday with 156 elite golfers heading to Los Angeles for the 123rd US Open. Although Tiger Woods is missing the event due to rehabilitation from surgery, there are still some huge names attending such as Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Brooks Koepka and Scottie Scheffler.
After events in recent weeks, which saw the PGA Tour and DP World Tour agree to a merger with LIV Golf, the US Open is arguably the most highly anticipated event of the year to date, surpassing the Masters and the PGA Championship.
Although the field is made up mainly of PGA Tour players, there are 15 LIV Golfers who will be teeing it up at Los Angeles Country Club this week and all eyes will be on them after the announcement last week. These players have been hounded by the press, the PGA Tour, and their fellow pros for their decision to join the Saudi-backed golf tour so they will perhaps enter Hollywood in a smug mood.
As anticipation continues to build, thousands of people are still on the lookout for tickets. If you are one of these people, then here is everything that you need to know.

How to get US Open tickets?
Considering this is the first time that Los Angeles has hosted a major golf tournament in nearly 30 years, tickets are understandably like Goldust. Despite that, there are still some tickets available to purchase which means if you want to attend the event then you still can.
In order to get tickets for the US Open, head to the tournament’s official website and head to the ticketing tab. From there, you will have three options. Buy standard tickets via the official site, buy tickets via resale, or buy hospitality.
What types of tickets are available?
Whether you’re looking for a standard grounds ticket or a day watching golf in unrivalled luxury, the Los Angeles Country Club more than has you covered. Throughout all of their ticketing options, these are the four main types of tickets available to purchase:
- Daily Trophy Club – Those who purchase these tickets will gain access to a premium on-course experience where they can watch all the action unfold from a luxury sports bar. Trophy club holders can also access the course in the same way that Gallery ticket holders can meaning you can experience the best of both worlds.
- Daily Gallery – This is the ticket for you if you want to be in the thick of the action all day long. Gallery ticket holders have access to the grounds from the first shot to the last, and are able to move around as they please. There are a number of grandstands at Los Angeles Country Club which Gallery ticket holders can enjoy, too if they want to sit down for a bit.
- Daily Champions Pavillion – The Champions Pavillion is the ultimate experience for those who want to sit back and relax and watch the action unfold in front of their eyes from luxury. Adjacent to holes 1 and 18, ticket holders can enjoy the first and last moments of each player’s rounds while they are also in the perfect spot should they want to take a stroll around the course at any point.
- Daily Pacific Club – The Pacific Club is situated on the 14th fairway with ticket-holders gaining access to the most premium of all hospitality options. From rooftop bars to lower-level climate-controlled spaces, this club has it all with the view immaculate from the fairway. Ticket holders also have the same access as gallery ticket holders meaning they can get closer to the action if they wish.
