The following betting tip is for Brooks Koepka to record a lower score than Bryson DeChambeau in round three.
Brooks Koepka over Bryson DeChambeau @ 20/37 (-185)
After tipping Koepka to defeat Rory McIlroy yesterday successfully in round two, I’m taking the two-time PGA champion (2018-2019) once again. Koepka shot a 4-under 66 (low score of the day) on Friday to climb back into contention. DeChambeau recorded a 1-over 71.
Koepka and DeChambeau are paired together for round three and will tee off at 2:30 p.m. ET.
What was once one of the most notable feuds (Koepka vs. DeChambeau) on the PGA Tour which involved jabs left and right from both parties, as well as fans calling DeChambeau “Brooksy” has been put to rest.
Over the past two years (primarily since 2022) Koepka has performed much better than his compatriot and has even become “friends” with the fellow LIV Tour member.
Since October 2022, Koepka has won twice on the LIV Tour and captured five top-11 finishes. During the same span, his competitor has only achieved one top 10 (last week) and hasn’t won since the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March 2021.
