Tim David has relished his role as ‘finisher’ for Mumbai Indians and he knows no other method than to aim for the supporters on the full in the final overs. Even against a team with Liam Livingstone in, we expect Mumbai Indians to hit the most sixes.

Probable Wickets
With 15 wickets from nine appearances in this year’s tournament, and still proudly yet to go wicketless, Arshdeep Singh is the biggest threat with the ball for Punjab Kings. He can pick up wickets at the top of the innings or late on and is famous for nailing his yorker length deliveries. He is averaging a wicket every 13.20 balls and has 55 dismissals across his IPL career.
Our prediction: Arshdeep Singh to be Punjab Kings’ highest wicket-taker at 11/4 (3.75).
Man of the Match
Although Arshdeep Singh is producing the goods on a very consistent basis this year, and Tim David along with Cameron Green are in excellent form for Mumbai Indians, we can not look beyond Suryakumar Yadav as the standout player in this game. He is back playing with confidence and is a player who bowlers genuinely fear! From ball one he will look to entertain and hit the ball into the crowd.
Our prediction: Suryakumar Yadav to be the Man of the Match at 9/1 (10.00).
Punjab Kings vs Mumbai Indians Preview
Although this is 6th v 7th, a win for Punjab Kings will see them go level on points with the teams at the top of the table whereas Mumbai Indians can go two points from the summit.

Now that Punjab Kings have Shikhar Dhawan and Liam Livingstone in the same team, hopes are high that they can start to post even higher and more consistent totals. Kagiso Rabada and Arshdeep Singh have formed a formidable partnership with the ball.
