Where to Watch England vs Scotland: Six Nations

England vs Scotland

This weekend, the oldest tournament in rugby gets underway. In what is perhaps the most exciting Six Nations competition for a generation, the best six teams in Europe will fight it out for seven weeks, to determine who has the honour of being crowned the Six Nations champion in 2023.

England vs Scotland Preview

England and Scotland will open their campaigns against each other this Saturday night at Twickenham in London.

Last year, the two teams finished dead even on points in the Six Nations, with England having a disappointing campaign. Now, having booted out head coach Eddie Jones and installed Steve Borthwick in his place, England will be hoping for a much improved year. They begin their Six Nations with matches against Scotland, Italy and Wales, before facing France at home, so will fancy their chances of heading to Dublin on the final weekend still with a chance of claiming the title.

Scotland will be looking to spoil the party, however, as they have beaten England in their past two meetings. Last year, it was a hard fought 20-17 win in Edinburgh, but this time two years ago the Scots travelled to Twickenham and claimed a win as well, walking away victorious 11-6. Can they execute a repeat this weekend?

We think not, but it should be a cracking game to open the action in Round 1 of the Six Nations 2023.
