Day two of the 2023 World Athletics Championship gets underway on Sunday. After what was an excellent first day, here’s to more entertainment in Budapest.
There’s plenty of athletics for viewers to get excited about on day two, which is due to be another action-packed day, with several events taking place. You’ll find the full schedule for the second day of the 2023 World Athletics Championships below.

Day 2 TV Schedule
Those who can’t take their eyes of the television screen will be pleased to know that there’s once again plenty of coverage to get stuck into on the second day of the World Championships. On day two, BBC will be showing live coverage on both BBC Two and BBC one. You can , watch even more of the live action by tuning into the BBC Red Button.

Sunday 20th August
BBC Two: 8:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
BBC One: 3:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
For those who are busy on Sunday, as many will be, then there is of course the option of tuning into BBC’s highlights package. From Monday, highlights of each day’s action will be on BBC Three at 9:00 p.m. on a daily basis.
