Norrie registered a straight-sets win against Alexander Shevchenko, shining again after some time on the boundaries. Hsu also impressed in his win over Thanasi Kokkinakis, dominating from start to finish. Don’t miss out on the latest updates and expert betting advice for the US Open 2023.
Yu Hsiou Hsu to win a set @ 6/5 (2.20)
Norrie gave a dominant performance against Shevchenko and will hope to give a similar performance against Hsu. The British ace is the overwhelming favourite to triumph but his prior form of losing four matches in succession casts some doubt. An upset by Hsu can be far-fetching but the qualifier should have enough in the tank to shave off one set from Norrie.
Over 31.5 Games @ 10/11 (1.91)
Norrie added to Shevchenko’s woes as he gave him his third successive defeat, ending his own losing run in the process. On the other hand, Hsu’s triumph over Kokkinakis came in a three-hour marathon that saw 38 games. He now has four wins at the event and has momentum on his side. He will not be a pushover like Shevchenko and we expect their duel to last at least 31.5 games.

Yu Hsiou Hsu vs Cameron Norrie: British number 1 back to his best?
Our predictions for this match have now been established, let’s see how these players have fared so far this season. For the latest tennis betting tips and predictions here.
Yu Hsiou Hsu preview
Hsu continues to make his comeback on the tour and will be pleased to pass the first test at Flushing Meadows. This is his best result at a Grand Slam in 2023, after failing to get out of the qualifiers at the French Open and Wimbledon while seeing a first-round exit at the Australian Open. With titles in Tsukuba and Kashiwa, the Taiwanese star will look to make the most of the opportunity against Norrie.
Cameron Norrie preview
After a strong start to the campaign, he reached the final in Auckland and triumphed in Rio de Janeiro, defeating Carlos Alcaraz in the process. Norrie has since struggled to live up to expectations and has suffered first-round exits at three of the seven masters events he has participated in. He also struggled to emulate his semi-final appearance at Wimbledon, with his best return at a Grad Slam being third-round exits in the Australian Open and French Open.
