Wimbledon Day 11 predictions and order of play

We are entering the final stretch of the 2023 Championships. While Carlos Alcaraz and Aryna Sabalenka earned straight-set victories to book their semi-final places, Daniil Medvedev and Ons Jabeur had to dig deep to keep their adventures at the All England Club going. The stakes are getting higher and we are in for a treat on Wimbledon Day 11.

Wimbledon Day 11 Predictions

Elina Svitolina vs Marketa Vondrousova Prediction: Svitolina to Win

Odds and Wimbledon’s history is stacked against Vondrousova in this duel. All the while, Svitolina is coming up after improving her H2H record against world number 1s to 7-6. Vondrousova needed a rain interruption to gather her wits in the deciding set, while Svitolina made sure Swiatek paid for her mistakes in her three-set victory. It is the mammoth Svitolina has slain leading to her semi-final journey that makes her back to triumph in this meeting.

Ons Jabeur vs Aryna Sabalenka Prediction: Over 22.5 Games

Sabalenka has laid waste to anyone who has stood in her path. That was the same trajectory of Elena Rybakina, the defending champion before she met Ons Jabeur. The Tunisian ace did not let up in the duel and ground it out, leaving Rybakina breathless before delivering the final blow. Sabalenka will be prepared for a marathon as has been the case in their previous meetings. Their last meeting in the 2022 WTA Finals saw 34 games and we believe an extended number of games will be played in this encounter as well.

Krawietz/Puetz vs Granollers/Zeballos Prediction: 2-1 to Krawietz/Puetz

While the top seeds battle it out on the main court, the un-fancied duos of Krawietz/Puetz and Granollers/Zeballos are in action on Court 1. Given the remarkable nature of their progress, it is a toss-up between the 10th and 15th seeds. Granollers/Zeballos have had to battle it out, with two of their four wins needing a deciding set. They will force the issue against Krawietz/Puetz, who are comparatively well-rested with a walkover en route to their semi-final berth. We are backing Krawietz/Puetz to triumph 2-1 in this meeting.
