Since the order of play has been confirmed, as have the matches for day seven, now is the perfect time to put together some betting tips for today’s games. As you probably already know, today is host to plenty of round four action. This means we are approaching the business end of the tournament. And it also means that the standard of tennis is just getting better and better.
Of course, it’s possible to bet on any of the matches that are scheduled today. But I have chosen to list three games where the odds are potentially undervalued compared with the likelihood of the result. Below, you will see these betting tips, along with their odds. Keep in mind that you can bet on these markets at most reputable bookmakers in the UK.
Wimbledon Betting Tips for Day Seven
Contents
As stated above, there are plenty of matches going down on day seven at Wimbledon. That means that there are plenty of bets that you can also make. But let’s be honest, you shouldn’t just be looking to make any random bets. You should be trying to bet on markets that show good value and that have a realistic chance of pulling through. So here they are:
Tiafoe vs Goffin – Tiafoe to win – 1.90 odds
These two have both done very well to reach the 4th round of Wimbledon this year. Goffin has dispatched guys like Baez and Humbert to get here, and he’s only lost one set so far. As for Tiafoe, he has also lost just one set, and he produced a big win against Bublik in the previous round. For me, his form and recent results suggest that he has a great chance of taking down Goffin today. I just feel that his game could prove too strong for Goffin, even if the bookies have this match down as 1.90 odds for both.
Bouzkova vs Garcia – Garcia to win – 2.00 odds
Both of these players have been performing incredibly well at Wimbledon so far. Bouzkova knocked out a top seed in the opening round in the form of Danielle Collins. As for Garcia, her tennis has just been sublime in recent times. She is enjoying an 8-match win streak on the grass courts, which includes a title win in Germany right before Wimbledon. For me, she is the ‘in form’ player out of the two, and her confidence will be sky high going into this match.
And at 2.00 odds for her to win, this shows huge value, in my opinion.
Watson vs Niemeier – Niemeier to win – 1.53 odds
Heather Watson has surprised everyone by making it to the 4th round of Wimbledon, and she deserves full credit for what she’s done. As for Niemeier, the tennis she is currently playing is simply fantastic. As a player ranked just inside the top 100 in the world, she is playing like a top 10 competitor. Already, she has knocked out the number 2 seed, and she is looking incredibly confident out there on the court. At 1.53 odds, this would lead to a decent return should she win too, which I believe will happen today.
